Anna is a highly motivated and accomplished psychologist with a Master’s degree in Applied Psychology from Trinity College Dublin, which she completed in 2023, following her Bachelor’s (Honours) degree in Psychology from the National College of Ireland.
As a passionate learner, Anna regularly attends seminars hosted by the Psychological Society of Ireland and the British Psychological Society, always seeking opportunities to expand her knowledge and skills.
Anna has a keen interest in educational, child, and developmental psychology, as demonstrated by her research focus during her undergraduate and graduate studies. She conducted her undergraduate dissertation on the experiences of parents who have undergone autism diagnostic services in Ireland and her master’s dissertation on parental experiences of emotion regulation intervention for children. Additionally, Anna has completed a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, building Person-Centred skill-based therapy, and has obtained certification for an Abilities Assessor course with the BPS.
Anna started her path with EPT Clinic as a volunteer assistant psychologist in August 2020 and has since become a full-time team member. Prior to that, she participated in many college events and societies and worked with volunteer organizations such as the NCP organization, where she worked as a homework club supervisor, helping immigrant families establish themselves in Ireland.
Anna’s commitment to giving back to the community extends to her work on the frontline of the Peter McVerry Trust, an organization that assists homeless people and those who struggle with addiction.
When Anna is not working, she enjoys playing guitar, writing music, and participating in fitness and outdoor adventures. Her musical skills have been used to raise funds and awareness for charity fundraisers and competitions throughout her teen years.
