Anna has recently completed her final year of a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in The National College of Ireland, Dublin. Anna is always striving to advance her knowledge, attending regular seminars from the Psychological Society of Ireland and the British Psychological Society.

Anna has taken a particular interest in the field of educational, child and developmental psychology, dedicating her final year dissertation to researching the experiences of parents who have gone through autism diagnostic services in Ireland. She aims to publish this paper and continue further research into this area in the coming years. She has also completed a Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and a Certification for an Abilities Assessor course with the BPS. Anna began her path with EPT Clinic as a volunteer assistant psychologist in August of 2020 and will be furthering her role in EPT Clinic as a clinical secretary and assistant psychologist. Anna’s goals include pursuing a masters degree in psychological well being and mental health to continue her path down educational psychology and working with children and adolescents.

In college, Anna participated in many events and societies, and was part of the campaign team for the student union team leaders. She has worked with volunteer organisations throughout her studies such as the NCP organisation, which helps immigrant families grow and establish their lives in Ireland. In this organisation she worked as a homework club supervisor, helping kids overcome barriers and learn in a supportive and fun environment, often while learning English as a second language. Anna also works on the frontline of the Peter McVerry trust, an organisation that works with homeless people and those who struggle with addiction.

In her free time, Anna likes to play guitar and write music, she often used these skills to help raise money and awareness for charity fundraisers and competitions in her teen years. Anna also enjoys fitness and loves outdoor adventures.
