Evana Cassidy

Occupational Therapist

BSc (Hons) Occupational Therapy

CORU registered: OT054951 & Member of the Association of Occupational Therapists Ireland AOTI 2022

Evana graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a degree in occupational therapy in 2022. Her thesis examined the social participation of autistic secondary school student in a mainstream educational setting. This sparked a passion in Evana regarding neurodiversity in children. Having completed a paediatric placement in an equine assisted occupational therapy site, she then knew without a doubt that she wanted to work with neurodiverse children. On this placement, she got to experience first-hand how developing the sensory system can further develop a child’s skill acquisition. This is something that Evana keeps at the centre of all of her therapy sessions.

In her spare time, Evana enjoys spending as much time as she can at the stables. When she herself is not riding, she can be found supporting the younger riders with developing their riding skills.
