Róisín has worked in Primary Care, Early Intervention, and School-age disability services, supporting children with a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs. She has worked for the University of Limerick as a Practice Education Tutor. Róisín works for Dóchas, a charity supporting autistic children in the Midwest, and works as a part-time consultant senior speech and language therapist for EPT Clinic.
Róisín received two scholarships for academic excellence while at UCD, where she completed a BA. (International) Degree in Spanish and Linguistics and achieved a first-class honour. She then completed a MSc. in Clinical Speech and Language Therapy at UL, where she was awarded a first-class honour.
Róisín is passionate about evidence-based practice and has completed many additional trainings and CPD, such as Lámh, Hanen, PECS, and many more. She is a member of the Autism Special Interest Group within the Irish Association of Speech and Language Therapists
