Early Intervention

Speech and Language Therapy Services

Review or Brief Early Intervention Speech and Language Therapy Assessment (1-5 years) €350:

A brief Early Intervention Assessment is an initial evaluation of your child’s speech and language skills, and their communication and interaction skills. It is an initial measure of how they are progressing, and it provides you with a home program to work on at home.

This assessment can also take the form of a review assessment if your child has already been seen before by a Speech and Language Therapist (for example in the HSE). The review may look at pragmatic skills, or a brief review of language skills (e.g. receptive skills or parental consultation re communication options/PECS etc.). Again, the brief report will include a home program to work on.
