“Our assessment today was well worth the wait. The environment was relaxing and reassuring, and the assessment was carried out with clear clinical expertise along with professionalism and compassion. I left with the answers and comfort of knowing the way forward that I had been hoping for. Everyone we spoke to was kind, courteous and understanding. It was an excellent experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the EPT clinic to anyone seeking a autism assessment for their child”

all disciplines under one roof working together as a team

STAGE 1 – DAY 1     €2,000

Stage 1 involes a psychology and occupational therapy neurodevelopmental assessment. It identifies neurodiversities which require some help. This includes:

  • Diagnosis of general and specific learning difficulties (e.g. dyslexia, dyscalculia)

The assessment involves 2-3 therapists, and assesses learning, development, communication, language, motor, sensory, emotional and behavioural regulation, play and social skills (depending on the age of the child or young person). Parents concerns and worries are explored. Parents will also be given the opportunity to ask questions and seek help and guidance.

At the end of Stage 1, parents will have a holistic strengths and needs profile of their child’s development. The report will provide a theraputic plan for all areas of the child’s development. The report will also detail a plan for home and school. Diagnostics for dyslexia, dyscalculia, sensory processing and mental health needs will be confirmed as appropriate. Stages 1 of the dyspraxia, autism and ADHD assessment will be complete, giving parents initial diagnostic information.
